(i) Peptide linkage : The amide linkage `(-overset(O)overset(||)(C)-NH-)` formed between two `alpha`-amino acid molecules with the loss of water molecules in a polypeptide is called a peptide linkage.
(ii) Bio catalysts : It is the use of natural catalysis, such as protein enzymes, to perform chemical transformations or organic compound. Both enzymes that have been more or less isolated and enzymes still residing inside living cells are employed for this task.
