The sun is a hot plasma (ionised matter)...

The sun is a hot plasma (ionised matter) with its linner core at a temperature excedding `10^7` K, and its outer surface at a temperature of about 6000K. At such high temps, no substance remains in a solid or liquid phase. In what range do you expect the mass density of the sun to be? In the range of densities of solids, liquieds or gases ? Check if your guess is correct from the following data : mass of sun `= 2.0xx10^(30)kg` , radius of the sun ` =7.0xx10^8m`

Given that mass of sun is 2 xx10^(30) kg and radius of sun is 7 xx10^(8) m . In what range do you expect the mass density of the sum to be ? Is it in the range of density of solid or liquid or gas ? Explain.

The variation of density of a solid with temperature is give by the formula

The luminousity of a star is 10000 times that of the sun. if the surface temperature of the sun is 6000 K, then the surface temperature of the star is

In sun and other stars, where temperature is about 10^(7) K fusion, takes place dominatly by:

The luminousity of a star is 10,000 times that of the sun and its surface temperature is 3000K . Assuming the surface of temperature of the sun to be 6000K , compare the radius of the star with that of the sun.

The sun is constantly radiating energy and yet its surface temperature is nearly constant at 6000^@C . The constancy of solar temperature is due to
