An observer is moving towards a wall at `2ms^(-1)`. He hears a sound from source at some distance behind him directly as well as after reflection from the wall. Calculate the beat frequency between these two sound, if the true frequency of the source is 680 Hz. Velocity of sound `-340m//s`.

A tuning fork of frequency 328Hz is moved towards a wall at a speed of 2ms^(-1) . An observer standing on the same side as the fork hears two sounds, one directly from the fork and the other reflected from the wall. Number of beats per second is (Velocity of sound in air 330ms^(-1) ).

A source of sound is moving away from an observer at rest with a velocity of 50 m s^(-1) . If the frequency of sound is 200 Hz , find the apparent frequency observed by the observer. (Take velocity of sound = 300 m s^(-1))

If a vibrating fork is rapidly moved towards a wall, beats may beheard between the direct and reflected sounds. Calculate beat frequency if the frequency of fork is 512 Hz and approaches the wall with a velocity of 300 cm/s. The velocity of sound is 330 m/s. Consider observer is behind the fork.
