Give the location of hepatic caeca in a cockroach. What is their function ?

Caecum or hepatic collum are 6-8 narrow, hollow and closed tubules. They are present at the connection of foregut and midgut. Caecum are like liver of invertebrates. They secrete digestive juices and help in digestion.
