What is special about tissue present in the heart ?

Characteristics of cardiac muscle tissue of special tissue located in heart are as under : (1) Cardiac muscle fibres are available to central and Autonomous both neural systems and they do not depend on their wish power. (2) These muscles are resistant and show rhythmicity. (3) They have full supply of blood. (4) If they are completly removed then also it possesses the property of contraction, eg. they are myogenic (It possesses both properties of muscle and nerve). So heart is known as mayogenic.
