Autogamy is a type of self pollination in which pollen grain from the anther of one flower transfer to stigma of the same flower while in Geitonogamy pollen grain of the flower transfers to other flower of the plant. In this condition dioecious plant possess male and female flowers. Geitonogamy, in ecological point of view cross pollination is equal to self pollination because all flowers of the plant are genetically equal
