Is the linear velocity of a particle mov...

Is the linear velocity of a particle moving with constant angular speed about non fixed axis remains constant? Why?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

No. Because the axis is non fixed so the direction of angular velocity parallel to the axis does not remains same and hence linear velocity is also not constant.
