Which component of linear acceleration o...

Which component of linear acceleration of a particle moving in a constant circular motion on a fixed circle is constant and which component is not constant?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Radial component is constant because in `a_(r)=romega^(2),r` and `omega` are constant. Tangential component is not constant because the direction of this acceleration is constantly changes.
