Is the tangential acceleration of a part...

Is the tangential acceleration of a particle moving along a fixed circle be always zero? When it will be zero?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

No, When the angular speed of a particle is not constant its tangential acceleration cannot be zero but if the angular speed is constant then its tangential acceleration is zero.
