In India following steps become necessary to improve reproductive health : (i) Strong internal facilities, presence of professional experts are necessary to make the programme of reproductive health successful. (ii) People are educated with birth control methods, care of pregnant mothers, importance of breast feeding, safe and hygienic sexual practices, and STDs and protections against them and proper information is provided. (iii) Various steps are taken to create awareness among the people about reproduction releted aspects with the help of audio-visual and print media. (iv) Various problems created due to population rise, social evils like sexual exploitation, sex related crimes, awareness to prevent such crime. (v) Statutory ban to be put on amniocentesis therefore foetus of female and abortion can be checked legally.
