What does the term memory of the Immune system mean?

When body encounters a pathogen for the first time produce a response called Primary response.
Primary response is of low intensity.
Memory cells are formed due to this primary response.
These cells are stored in spllen and lymph nodes.
When body encounters the same pathogen subsequently then body elicits secondary response.
Secondary response is of high intensity.
