Milliequivalents of base =` 60 xx 0.3 = 18`. Milliequivalents of acid `= 40xx 0.2 = 8`
Resultant hydroxyl ion concentration,
`[OH^(-)] = (18 -8)/( 60+40 )= (10)/(100)=(1)/(10) = 0.1`
` pOH =- log (0.1 )=1`
`[PH]=14 -pH`
` pH =14-1=13.`
