Verified by Experts

To solve this problem, botanists have devised the system of binomial nomenclature so that a particular species can have unique name for the purpose of scientific study. ICBN ensures that such name has not been used for any other organism. Each name has two components the generic name and the species name. This system of naming is called bionomical nomenclature given by Carolus Linnaeus.
