Flight muscles of birds are formed by red muscles. It has more amount of myoglobin.
red muscles contain good amount of mitochondria which can store more `O_(2)` and synthesizes ATP such muscles are called aerobic muscles. They can synthesize more ATP, do not get fatigued easily so birds can fly continouosly for long distance.
