Thus, the soil provides quick aeration and absorption of water, thereby the roots of the plant get penetrated elasily. Earthworms continuously bring the lower soil on the surface and deposit it there. They plough the land and share the work of the farmers. The process of increasing fertlity of soil by earthworm is called vermicomposting.
