In a Young.s slit experiment, the slits are separated by 0.24 mm and the screen is kept 160 cm from the slits. If the fringe width is measured to be 0.4 cm, calculate the wavelength of light used experiment. What would be the new value of the .fringe width., if for the same set up or the same wavelength light, the screen is moved, .inwards., i.e., towards the slits by 40 cm?

In a Young’s double-slit experiment, the slits are separated by 0.28 mm and the screen is placed 1.4 m away. The distance between the central bright fringe and the fourth bright fringe is measured to be 1.2 cm. Determine the wavelength of light used in the experiment.

In Young's double slit experiment the slits are separated by 0.28mm and the screen is placed at a distance of 1.4m away from the slits. The distance between the central bright fringe and the fifth dark fringe is measured to be 1.35cm . Calculate the wavelength of the light used. Also find the fridge width if the screen is moved towards the slits by 0.4m , for the same experimental set up.

In a double slit experiment, the slits are separated by a distance d and the screen is at a distance D from the slits. If a maximum is formed just opposite to each slit, then what is the order of the fringe so formed ?

The angular width of central maximum is 0.1^@ If the width of the single slit is 10^(-5) m, then calculate the wavelength of light used.

In an interference experiment, distance between slits is 2 mm and screen is placed at distance1 m from slits. Fourth dark fringe is formed exactly opposite to one of slits. Wavelength of light used in nm is

In young's double slit experiment, distance between the slits is 1mm. The fringe width is found to be 0.6 mm. When the screen is moved through a distance of 0.25 m, the fringe width becomes 0.75 mm. Find the wavelength of light used.

In Young.s double slit experiment, slits are separated by 2 mm and the screen is placed at a distance of 1.2 m from the slits. Light consisting of two wavelengths 6500Å and 5200Å are used to obtain interference fringes. Then the separation between the fourth bright fringes of two different patterns produced by the two wavelengths is
