What will be the equivalent resistance of n resistors each having resistance R when connected in series and parallel separately?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The eqUivalent resistance for series connection,
`R_s = R + R + R +…n` times
`R_s =nR`
The equivalent resistance for parallel connection,
`1/R_P = 1/R + 1/R + 1/R … n` times
`=n/R`
`:. R_p = R/n`
