Why don.t two magnetic field lines intersect each other ?

The direction of the magnetic field B at a point is obtained by drawing a tangent to the magentic field line at that point .
If two magnetic field lines interect each other, it would mean that there are two direction of the magnetic field at the point of intersection , which is not possible because magnetic field is a vector, at a give point in space , it can have only one direction. (or the resultant force on a pole ( north/ south) at any point can only be in one direction.
