What are the speical feature of a commerical electric motor ?

Explanation

(1) A commerical motor uses an electromagnet in place of a permanent magnet .
(2) It has large number of turns of the conducting wire in the current - carrying coil .
(3) It has a soft iron core on which the coil wound .
The soft iron core on which the coil is wound plus the coils is called an armature . This enhances the power of the motor .
