What are the potentials of the live and neutral wires used in our country ? What is the potentical difference between these wires ?

In our country, the potential of the live wire (red insulated ) is a potentical of 220V (high potential) whereas that of the neutral wire (black insulated) is 0 V (ground potential).
The potential differnce between these wiree is 220-0=220V .
