What precaution should be taken to avoid the overloading of domestic electric circuits ?

Explanation

To aviod overloading of domestic electric circuits, the following precautions should be taken :
(1) Wires used for carrying current should be of proper current rating .
(2) Two separate circuits should be used , one of 5A current for lightting electric bulbs, tubes , TV, etc.and another of 15A for higher current rating appliance such as heating appliances , AC, etc .
(3) Parallel circuits should be used and each ciruit should have a fuse of proper ratting .
(4) Too many higher power rating electrical appliance such as electric iron , geyser , air - condition , etc . should not be switched on at the same time .
(5) Too many electrical appliances should not be operated on a single socket simultaneously .
(6) Wires should be replaced by new wires of proper rating and good insulation after every 5-6 years.
(7) PVC of good quality should be used .
