Give scientific reasons for the following statements :
We use power supply of two different current rating at our homes .

Each electrical appliance has its rating and draws current according for its functioning . To avoid overloading and short -ciruciting , two separate circuits are used in electrical wiring at home , one of 15A for appliances with higherr power rating and another of 5A for bulbs, tubes, fans , etc .
