For a circuit shown in Fig. find the value of resistance `R_2` and current `I_2` flowing through `R_2`

If equivalent resistance of parallel combination of `R_1 and R_2 ` is R, then
`R= (R_1 R_2)/(R_1 + R_2) = (10 R_2)/(10 + R_2)`
According to Ohm.s law.
`R= (50)/(10) = 5 Omega implies (10 R_2)/(10 + R_2) = 5 implies R_2 = 10 Omega`
The current is equally divided into `R_1 and R_2` Hence `I_2 = 5 A`
