Explain why `MeNH_(2)` is stronger base than MeOH ?

Nitrogen is less electronegative than oxygen. Therefore, the lone pair of electrons is more readily available on nitrogen than oxygen. Therefore, `MeNH_(2)` is a stronger base than Me - OH.
