Verified by Experts

Ozone is a molecule formed by three atoms of oxygen in the presence of UV (Ultraviolet) rays.
Ozone performs an essential function at the higher levels of the atmosphere. However, at ground level it is a deadly poison.
Ozone absorbs shorter wavelength UV rays from the sun. Thus it protects the living system on earth.
