Give the expression for gyromagnetic rat...

Give the expression for gyromagnetic ratio of an electron revolving round the nucleus and explain the terms.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Gyromagnetic ratio of the electron is given by
`(mu_1)/(l) = (e )/(2m_e)`
Where `to mu_1` = magnetic dipole moment
l = angular momentum
e = charge on electron
`m_e` = mass of electron
