Velocity of combined mass, `v = (m_(1)v_(1) - m_(2)v_(2))/(m_(1) + v_(2))`
`= (0.1 xx 1 - 0.4 xx 0.1)/(0.5) = 0.12 m//s`
`therefore` Distance travelled combined mass
`= v xx t = 0.12 xx 10 = 1.2 m`.
