Explanation

Population is a group of individuals of a single species.
Reproduction is the process by which population can be increased. The rates of birth and death in a given population will determine its size. The increasing size of the human population is a cause for concern. An expanding population can cause problems such as food scarcity, low standard of living, depletion of natural resources and inequality among people.
