A train, travelling at a uniform speed for 360 km, would have taken 48 minutes less to travel the same distance if its speed were 5 km/h more. Find the original speed of the train.

Solve the following questions. (ii) A train travels 360 km with uniform speed. The speed of the train is increased by 5 km//hr , it takes 48 minutes less to cover the same distance. Find the initial speed of the train.

Solve the following problems: A passenger train takes 2 hours more than an express train to travel a distance of 240 km . The speed of the express train is more than that of passenger train by 20 km/h. Find the speed of both the trains.

A man travels 370 km partly by train and partly by car. If he covers 250 km by train and the rest by car, it takes him 4 hours. But, if he travels 130 km by train and the rest by car, he takes 18 minutes longer. Find the speed of the train and that of the car.

Solve the following problems : The distance between Akola and Bhusaval is 168 km. An express train takes 1 hour less than passenger train to cover that distance . A metro train runs from station A to B C. It takes 4 minutes in travelling from Station A to Station B. The train halts at station B for 20 s. Then it starts from station B and reaches Station C in next 3 minutes. At the start, the train accelerates for 10 s to reach the constant speed of 72 km//hr . The train moving at the constant speed is brought to rest in 10 sec. At next station. (i) Plot the velocity- time graph for the train travelling from the station A to B to C. (ii) Calculate the distance between the stations A, B and C.

A train covered a certain distance at a uniform speed. If the train would have been 6 km/hr faster, it would have taken 4 hours less than the scheduled time. And, if train were slower by 6km/hr, it would have taken 6 hours more than the scheduled time. Find the length of the journey.

A train covers the first half of the distance between two stations at the speed of 40 km h^-1 and the other half 60 km h^-1 . Its average speed is
