The motion represented by the equation y...

The motion represented by the equation `y(t)=A cos(omegat+phi)` is called simple harmonic motion (SHM). The displacement of y (in cm) of an oscillating particle varies with time t (in sec) according to the equation. `y=2cos(0.5pit+pi/3)`. Find the amplitude and period of the particle.
