Given : `t=1s, g=10m//s^(2),u=0m//s, s=?, v=?`
(i) `s=ut+(1)/(2)g t^(2)`
`=(1)/(2)g t^(2)" for "u=0m//s`
`therefore s=(1)/(2)xx10m//s^(2)xx(1s)^(2)`
= 5 m
`therefore" The height of the table = 5 m."`
(ii) `v=u+at= u +g t`
`=0m//s +10m//s^(2)xx1s`
`=10m//s`
`therefore` The velocity of the ball on reaching the ground = 10 m/s.
