i. Vitamins are a group of heterogenous compounds which are essenial for the proper operation of various life processes.
ii. There are six types of vitamins,i.e., vitamin A, B,C,D,E and K .
iii. Vitamins A,D,E and K are fat-soluble vitamins, whereas, vitamins B and C are water-soluble.
iv. Vitamins like riboflavin ( vitamin `B_(2)` ) and nicotinamide ( vitamin `B_(2)` ) are used for the synthesis of `FADH_(2)` and `NADH_(2)` respectively.
