i.Members of phylum Annelida are triploblastic, bilaterally symmetrical and eucoelomate. ii. These animals have a long, cylindrical and metamerically segmented body.
iii. Most of the animals of this phylum are free- living, but a few are ectoparasites. The free- living animals may be marine or fresh water dwellers or terrestrial.
iv.Annelids have setae or parapodia or suckers for locomotion.
v.Their body is covered with cuticle.
vi. They are either hermaphrodites or unisexual. e.g. Earthworms Leech, Nereis, etc.
