Which plants are cultivated to obtain the fuel ?

Plants cultivated to obtain fuel are as follows :
i. Wheat, maize, potatoes, sugarcane: Sugar extracted from these plants is fermented to produce ethanol that can be used as fuel.
ii. Jatropha curcas: Seeds of Jatropha curcas are crused to obtain oil, which is processed to produce high-quality biofuel.
iii. Plam, sunflower, mustard, etc. are also cultivated for production of biofuel.
