Why microorganisms are important in our daily life ?

i. Microbes are used for the production of many hiousehold items like idli, bread, vinegear and dairy products like cheese, yoghurt, butter, cream, etc., that are used on a daily basis.
ii. Antibiotics such as penicillin, natamycin, etc. are produced using microbial fermentation.
iii. Commonly used beverages like coffee, cocoa, wine and cider are produced by microbial fermentation of organic substartes.
iv. Probiotices like yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut, miso supo, etc. are produced by microbial fermentation.
v. Microbes are also used for production of fuels, pollution control and sewage management. Hence, microorganisms are important in our daily life.
