a. Chemical pesticides are harzrodous to out health as they contaminate soil and water.
b. Pesticides destroy natural and useful microbes present in soil.
c. Excessive use of pesticides adversely affects the fertility of soil.
d. Pesticides can be harmful to birds, injsects, fishes and other non-targeted plants. Thus, use of chemical pesticides should be avoided.
