i. Disaster management is the prevention of disasters or the preparation to face it. It includes pre-disaster and post-disaster management.
ii. The pre-disaster management plan includes the complete preparation and planning to face any type of disaster.
iii. The post disaster management plane includes the various measures taken to reduce the destructive effects of the disaster and bring normalcy in the area where the disaster has occured.
iv. The main aspects of disaster management include preparation, redemption, preparedness, impact of disaster, response, resurgence and restoration.
Thus, the nature of disaster management includes preparation of an action plan which comprises of preventive measures, rehabilitation, reconstruction and execution of that plan.
