The correct Answer is:
Area of a square `=side^(2)`
`=7^(2)`
` = 49 cm^(2)`
Area of sector (D-AXC) `=theta/360xx pi r^(2)" "...["Formula"]`
`= 90/360xx22/7xx7xx7`
`= 38.5 cm^(2)`
`therefore` A (shaded redion) = Area of a square - Area of sector
`= 49 cm^(2) - 38.5 cm^(2)`
`= 10 . 5 cm^(2)`
