(i)Anisotropy is a property of crystalline solids by virtue of which their physical properties like refractive index, condutivity etc. have different values in different directions.
(ii) Isotropy is a property of amorphous solids by virtue of which their physical properties like refractive index,conductivity etc. have same values in all directions.
