In a biprism experiment, red light of wavelength `6500 overset@A` was used. It was then replaced by green light of wavelength `5200 overset@A`. Find the value of n for which `(n + 1)^th` green bright band would coincide with the nth bright band, for the same setting.

In a biprism experiment, the slit is illuminated by red light of wavelength 6400 overset (@)(A) and the crosswire in the eyepiece is adjusted to be at the centre of the 3rd bright band. By using blue light it is found that the 4th bright band is at the centre of the cross-wire. Find the wavelength of blue light.

In biprism experiment the distance between 4th and 13th bright fringes on same side is measured when light of wavelength 6000 overset (@)(A) is used.On replacing the source of light by another of different wavelength without disturbing the adjustment of the apparatus, it is found that the distance between the 5th and 15th bright fringe on same side is the same as distance measured before. What is the wavelength of light used?

If the distance between the two virtual sources is 0.3 cm, determine the distance between the 5th bright band on one side and 5th dark band on the other side.

In Young's experiment, the pinholes are illuminated, by a monochromatic light of wavelength 5200 overset (@)(A) . A screen is placed at 1 m from the slit. If the pinholes are 1.3 mm apart, find i)fringe width ii) the distance between the seventh bright band on one side and sixth dark band on the other side of the central bright band.

The distance between two consecutive bright bands in biprism experiment is 0.32 mm, when red light of wavelength 6400 overset (@)(A) is used. By how much will this distance change if blue light of wavelength 4800 overset (@)(A) is used with the same setting?

The distance between two consecutive dark bands in a Young's experiment is 0.32 mm when red light of wavelength 6400 overset (@)(A) is used . By how much will this distance change if yellow light of wavelength 5900 overset (@)(A) is used with the same setting .

In a biprism experiment , the distance between the slit and the focal plane of the eyepiece is 1.2 m and the wavelength of light used is 5000 overset (@)(A) .
