What is activation energy?...

What is activation energy?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Activation energy is the extra energy which must be supplied to the reactants so that they change into products .
(i) Catalyst lowers down the activation energy.
There is no effect on activation energy with rise in temperature but number of molecules possessing activation energy will increase.
