While decreasing linearly from 5 N to 3 N, a force displaces an object from 3 m to 5 m. Calculate the work done by this force during this displacement.

You have learnt how to calculate the work done on an object when the displacement is in the direction of the applied force. But if the displacement is not in the direction of the applied force, how do we calculate the amount of work done

A force F_(y)=(3x+2)" N" is acting on a body. The work done by this force if it tends to displace the body from x = 0 m to x = 4 m will be

A force of 50 N acts on an object and displaces it by 2 m. If the force acts at an angle of 60° to the direction of its displacement, find the work done.

Find the area of the region include between y=x^2 and the line y=4x.

Solve the following examples: A force of 20 N acts on a body. If the displacement of the body is 0.6 m in the direction opposite to that of the force, calculate the work done by the force.
