An error of `3%` is committed in the measurement of volume of a cube. What is the percentage of error committed in the measurement of each of its sides.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The volume of a cube `V=l^3`
l=length of each side
so `long(V) = 3 log l`
Differentiating both sides `DeltaV/V=3(Deltal)/l` so, `(Deltal)/l=l//3xx(DeltaV)/V=1//3xx3%=1%`
