A copper wire 2 m long and having a diameter of 2mm is suspended from a rigid support . The wire is stretched by a load of 5 kg . Find the work done in stretching the wire and the strain energy per unit of its volume.
Y = 12 xx 10^10 N/m^2` and `g= 9.8 m/s^2` .
