On increasing the pressure, the melting point of ice decreases while with the increase of pressure the melting point of wax is increased. Explain why ?

When ice melts into wafer, there is a reduction in volume. Now increasing the pressure means helping the reduction in volume. So the ice now melts at lower ‘ temperature. The case is opposite in case of wax.]
