Differentiate between evaporation and boiling.

Evaporation is a slow change from the liquid to the gaseous state which takes at the surface of a liquid and at all temperatures. Boiling is the rapid change of a substance from the liquid to the gaseous state which takes place throughout the mass of the liquid at a definite temperature.
