Absolute zero temperature is not the temperature of zero energy, explain.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

At absolute zero,4he energy of translatory motion of molecules ceases (being a function of temperature) but the other forms of energy such as inter-molecular, potential, energy of moleclar motion etc. do not become zero. Thus absolute zero temperature is not the temperature of zero energy
