Here : `A=10N,B=15N,R=sqrt(A^(2)+B^(2)+2ABcos0)`
(a) R will be maximum if cos 0=1
Then `R=A+B = underset(to)(10)+15 underset (to)(=)25N`
in the direction of A and B
(b) R will be minimum if cos `0=-1`
then `R=15-10=5underset(to)(N)`
in the direction of B
Vector addition obeys
(1) commutative law `vecA +vecB=vecB+vecA`
(2) distributive law m `(vecA+vecB)=mvecA+mvecB`
(3) Associative law `vecA+(vecB+vecC)=(vecA+vecB)+vecC`
