A car covers 60 km at a uniform speed of 120 kmph and the next 60 km at a uniform speed of 80 kmph. Find the total time taken .

For uniform speed, we have `v=S/t"or"S=vt`
It the car takes time `t_(1)` to cover the first 60km,` t_(1)=S/v=(60km)/(120km//h)=1/2h=30 `minutes
similarly , if it takes time` t_(2)`to cover the next `60km, t_(2)=S/v(60km)/(80km//h)=3/4h=45`minutes
The total time taken is `t_(1)+t_(2)=30+45=75`minutes
