A racing car has a uniform acceleration of `4 ms ^(-2).` What distance will it cover in 10 s after the start ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here, `u = 0,a = 4 ms ^(-2) , t = 10 s `
`s = ut + (1)/(2) at ^(2)`
`0 = xx 10 + (1)/(2) xx 4 xx (10) ^(2)`
`= 0 + 2 xx 100 = 200 m`
The car will cover a distance of 200 m.
